22 Jump Street Film Review

Summary - After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for Officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Storyline – if you liked the first movie then you are going to like this movie not all sequels aren’t that good but sometimes you do get good ones like this one the storyline for this movie is entertaining, fun, hilarious, the storyline made sense I was hooked from start to finish I’d recommend seeing this movie it is a great sequel there was humor and great fun like the first movie was.

Camera Movements- the camera movements are good as the first movie is steady cam, good camera distances and good camera angles of the city and actors.

Background – the movie set is as convincing as the first movie is, the soundtrack is also good, the lighting was good in this movie and the supporting cast was great.

Character Development – the character development in this movie is the same as the first movie but different we learn a bit more of these two characters that these two great actors portray, I liked them the same amount as the first movie.

Acting – Jonah Hill delivers us another great performance in a good movie and he is the same as the previous movie but he delivers us more, Channing Tatum also Delivers us just as good as the previous movie but he also delivers us more goodness I find him a really good actor he convinces us of the character he is portraying.

Editing – this movie is well edited, the storyline was awesome, the sound tracked scored great, the lighting was good and the sound was great as well as the affects.

Audio – the soundtrack to this film is as good as the first movie, the soundtrack pulled the movie together with its high feeling to the scenes, when there were action on the screen the soundtrack added weight to the scene.

Visuals – the visuals in this film is great, the lighting is good, the visual effects was great, the tone of the movie is awesome, the setting of the film was great.

Direction – the direction this movie took was great like I said not a lot of sequels are good but there is some that are good and this one is one of the good ones and the movie is well directed.

Personal Opinions - in my personal opinion this movie is as good as the previous movie 21 Jump Street but a bit better I would highly recommend watching these two movies but watch it in order so you can understand this movie I would watch this movie with my best friend.

Conclusion – the final verdict I give this movie is an 8 out of 10, a great watch with friends and family, I am very surprised how good these two movies are
