Summary – In 1970s San Diego, journalism was a well-respected profession and people actually cared about what they saw on TV. And the top rated anchor man in the city is Ron Burgundy. He enjoys his run at the top, and has for the last five years. And his news team is equally as good as he is. Professional jock and former professional baseball player Champ Kind handles the sports, the curiously dim witted Brick Tamland - who's a few channels short of a cable subscription - handles the weather, and ladies' man Brian Fantana - whose collection of fine scents would be in the Guinness Book Of Records - handles the on-field reporting. But now all that is about to change forever. The TV station Burgundy works for, Channel 4, has embraced diversity and has hired a beautiful new female anchor named Veronica Corningstone. While Ron Burgundy and the rest of the Channel 4 news team enjoys fighting with competitors, drinking, and flirting with the ladies, Veronica quietly climbs her way to the top. And Veronica's success drives Ron Burgundy crazy. So much that Veronica's meddling causes Ron to get demoted and ultimately lose his job with Channel 6. Now left with nothing, Ron must find a way to get back to the top - and that involves a story about a rare Chinese panda giving birth on US soil. Will Ron be the one to report the story on a national level?

Storyline – I found the story very entertaining, the writing is good, the plot was pure comedy, there are a lot of great characters, this is one of those movies that you can watch again after a while and still get a laugh out of it, this has to be one of my most favorite comedy’s to watch, when I went into watching this movie again so I can review it, I emptied my mind, and watched it like I have never seen it before, and I was laughing like it was my first time again, and that is good when it comes to watching movies that you still have experiences like it is when you watch it for the first time, the movie gets better and better, the more I watch it.

Camera Movements – the movie’s filming is great, the directing was great, the screen play was great, the angles were great, the distances was great, the movements are great.

Background – the filming locations are great, the world of Sandi Ago looks beautiful, and the supporting cast is great, the best part I have to say about the movie is the whole movie itself.

Character Development – the characters were developed really good, Ron Burgundy is obviously the star of the show, and his character was built up nicely, I saw how much the news meant to him, and they chose the right actor to portray him, Will Ferrell has to be the greatest actor when it came to the Anchorman Movies.

Acting – Will Ferrell his acting is great, his character is great, his energy is great, and everything is great about his performance, Christina Applegate I found her character great, at a few times I felt that she was using Ron Burgundy to get a chance to be on the air, and there was something that ED could have done to stop her from going live, he could have fired her, Steve Carell his character id have to say was funny in this movie, he’s one of those people who is polite, doesn’t swear, and has no idea what’s going on around him, and here is a fun fact this is Steve Carell’s first movie that he has ever been in back in 2004.

Editing – this movie is well edited, the plot was great, the characters was great, the lighting was great, the visuals were great, the direction was great, the character development was great, the whole movie is great.

Audio – the soundtrack was great in this movie, the sound was great, the audio is great, the soundtrack was great for the scenes, it added some emotion the scenes that they were in.

Visuals – the visuals were great, the lighting was great, the tone of the movie is great, the setting was great, the atmosphere was a great tone of the setting of the film.

Direction – this movie is directed by Adam McKay the other films that he has directed is (The Other Guys, Step Brothers, Talladega Nights: The Ballard of Ricky Bobby) those are other movies that Will Ferrell were in and some of them are great, and the directors style of directing is great.

Personal Opinions – in my personal opinion this is one of Will Ferrell’s best roles, he truly is an Anchorman, this is a film that you can watch with an empty mind and still have fun no matter how old you are, and how many times you’ve seen it.

Conclusion – for the final verdict I give this movie a 10 out of 10, great comedy film.
