Summary- In northern Australia at the beginning of World War II, an English aristocrat inherits a cattle station the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn stock-man to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

Storyline – in my experience of this film I couldn't really understand the story in this film the motives in the movie is slow and confusing I wasn't really following the plot to this story, don't judge me for not understanding the film.

Lighting – the lighting for the movie is good not to dark, not to bright the lighting for this movie is very well done I do admit, the tone the editor used for this film is outstanding.

Camera Movements – the camera Distance from the Actors are good they were in wide shots, the camera movements in the movie is very well done indeed.

Background – the movie sets are convincing, I think they used actual sets to shoot this film those types of movies I like actual on site filming.

Character Development – the way this movie introduces us to Nicole Kidman & Hugh Jackman is brilliant I must say, I can't really say why they are so great but hire this movie to find out for yourself.

Acting –Nicole Kidman's character I have to be honest with myself I did not like hers at all at times I found her to be quite annoying and unlikable at some points throughout the film you like her motivations, Hugh Jackman's character I would have to say I liked his a lot his funny, charming I liked his motivations in this movie.

Editing – this movie is well edited the tones for the lighting was good the background sounds were excellent and the soundtrack was good.

Audio – the soundtrack was alright it didn’t really add much to the scenes, the audio was good, and I wish they could have made the writing a bit better than it was.

Visuals – the visuals in this film was good, the lighting was great, and the visual effects were good, I do like the scenery of Australia in this film, and I like the western outback that was shown throughout the film.

Direction – I'm not a fan of the direction this movie headed I was so confused most of the time and entertained at times I can't really say there was a few scenes I liked and the direction does not matter but I have to be honest I did not like the direction one bit.

Personal Opinions – in my personal opinion I would say let this movie slip by if you really want to see what it is like I would say hire it to see what you think and go watch another Hugh Jackman movie like the wolverine or something, I wasn't entertained most of the movie I was board throughout most of the movie.

Conclusion – I'm sorry but out of a scale of 1 to 5, I'm giving it a 2, a rental.
