Summary – As a boy a young Bruce Wayne watched in horror as his millionaire parents were slain in front of his eyes, a trauma which led him to become obsessed with revenge but his chance is cruelly taken away from him by fate. After disappearing to the East where he seeks counsel with the dangerous but honorable ninja cult leader known as Ra's Al-Ghul, he returns to his now decaying Gotham City overrun by organized crime and dangerous individuals manipulating the system whilst the company he inherited is slowly being pulled out from under him. The discovery of a cave under his mansion, and a prototype armored suit leads him to take on a new persona, one which will strike fear into the hearts of men who do wrong - he becomes, Batman. In the new guise, and with the help of rising cop Jim Gordon, Batman sets out to take down the various nefarious schemes in motion by individuals such as mafia don Falcone, the twisted doctor/drug dealer Jonathan 'The Scarecrow' Crane, and a mysterious third party that is quite familiar with Wayne and waiting to strike when the time is right.

Storyline – wow this film is great, it had all that Batman formula to the story, this has to be the best Origin of Batman in the whole series, and this film is the best Christopher Nolan Film that I have ever seen also the other two films of course (The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises), this is like the best Batman Story that is ever brought to the big screen, it’s a shame that Bob Kane passed and Batman & Robin was the last film of his character before he passed, and could you imagine if he saw this film instead, when I watch this film I always feel like it’s the first time watching, it reminds me of the first day that I saw it in 2005, and I will always continue watching this film over the years.

Camera Movements – the filming of this movie is great, it has one of the best Directors of all time directing and that is Christopher Nolan, the camera angles were Awesome, the distances was awesome, the movements were awesome, and the directing of the film couldn’t be any better, this has to be one of my most favorite film directors of all time who really knows how to bring an action film to screen.

Background – the filming locations were great, I liked the sequences of Bruce Training in the mountains, and of course the filming of him in the Bat suit, but most of all I liked the city of Gotham, it was dark and it felt original to the comics, and the best part of all is that we have a great actor playing as Bruce Wayne & Batman, and the casing was chosen the best way possible.

Character Development – the character development in this film is great, the origin story of Batman told in this matter is a great way of doing it, this has to be the best way of showing how Bruce Wayne got all the training to be Batman, since that this film is 11 years old now, this film still holds up to my high standards, and that is why this is the best film of Batman that I have seen.

Acting – Christian Bale his acting as Bruce Wayne is fantastic, Michael Keaton is a great actor, but in this universe of Gotham he was the right casting, Michael Caine him playing as Alfred is great, he has the right accent of Alfred in this universe, the same way you would think of what his voice would sound like in the comics, this has to be one of his best roles, Morgan Freeman him playing as Lucius Fox is great, his sarcasm and his manner is great, this also has to be one of his best roles, and he is one of my most favorite actors.

Editing – the editing of this film is great, the soundtrack was awesome, the plot was awesome, the story was well written, the film was well directed, and the sound & audio is great, the visuals are great, the special effects were great.

Audio – the soundtrack has to be one of the reasons that the film succeeded, the sound was great, the audio is great, the soundtrack has to have one of the best soundtrack composer of all time Hans Zimmer, the sound track really made the film great, it made the action scenes tenser of the situation.

Visuals – the visuals are unbelievable, the lighting is great, the visual effects are awesome, the tone was dark and gruesome perfect for the world of Gotham, the setting was brilliant, the atmosphere was great, it truly made the world of Gotham felt full of corruption and there’s crime all over the streets and there’s dirty cops in the police department.

Direction – this film is directed by Christopher Nolan and the other films that he has directed is (Following, The Prestige, Inception) and I have to say his directing for this film is great.

Personal Opinions – in my personal opinion this film is great, one of the best comic book film ever made in 2005, and the direction couldn’t have been any better, and this is a film that I highly recommend if you’re a batman fan.

Conclusion – for the final verdict I give this film a 10 out of 10, one of the best batman films out there.
