Summary – Batman, the costumed crime-fighter who prowls the night skies in Gotham City, soon finds there's another vigilante in town knocking off prominent mob figures. Despite the scythe-like blade for a hand, a mechanical voice and the cloud of smoke that follows the figure wherever it goes, the police and outraged officials mistake the homicidal crusader for Batman himself and demand that the city's longtime hero be brought to justice. Meanwhile, Andrea Beaumont returns to town. She is the lost love of Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy who is Batman's alter ego, and was an integral part of Wayne's decision ten years earlier to don the cape and cowl. Now, she is back in his life and is no less a disruption than the return of his old archenemy, The Joker, who has a stake in seeing the annihilation of this new vigilante, whoever it proves to be.

Storyline – I have to say when I grew up and when I watched this film it had a big impact on my favorite superhero of all time, and this is a film that I still watch today, my only wish is that they switch the movie to Blu-Ray, that is my wish still today this film deserves a Blu-Ray copy, but I own it on DVD and the movie still rocks either way, this movie feels so original, and they don’t make Batman animated films like this anymore, they need to look at this film, and look at why this film works and take the advice and work on it, cause the ones they make today don’t have as much entertainment as this film has, this is a film that I would recommend to anyone who likes batman and his universe, cause this one will have an emotional impact on hardcore batman fans.

Camera Movements – the animation in this film is great, especially for back when this was made back in 1993 the graphics was surprisingly good back in those days, the characters were in a great distance from the animation, the angles was great.

Background – the Batman universe has always been good in the animated series and it continues in this film, taken directly from the batman the animated series, and then brought to you in film.

Character Development – we all know the background of batman thanks to the previous films of batman and the animated series, it is good to have a batman movie that doesn’t focus on his origin movie all over again, and it’s good to have a film that focuses on a story of Batman.

Acting – the voice acting in this film is phenomenal, Kevin Conroy continues his epic Batman voice to this film, and like I said in the past he has to be my most favorite Batman voice actor today, he has that deep, dark voice that brings life the character, Dana Delany she dose the voice for Andrea Beaumont and she does a beautiful voice, you can tell the beauty in her voice, she was the right casting for this role, Mark Hamill this has to be my most favorite voice for Joker, yes Mark Hamill is Luke Skywalker from star wars I was quite surprised when I found out this whole news and I have to say I admire his voice acting as the Joker, he has the voice of a spooky clown, a true anarchist.

Editing – the editing for this film is really well done, the animation was done pretty good, the character models are great, the soundtrack is Beautiful, and the quality of this film is fantastic.

Audio – the soundtrack to this film is great, it truly brings emotion to the scenes that they are in, when there was an action scene there was soundtrack to back up the scene, when there was a sad scene there was sad music playing in the background, the soundtrack to the film is great.

Visuals – the visuals to this film is great, the lighting is great, the tone of the movie is in the right setting is great, the setting of the movie is great.

Direction – this movie is directed by Eric Radomski his other films are (The Dark Knights first night, Batman The Animated Series, Spawn) he directed the animated series greatly, that is one of my favorite TV series of all time.

Personal Opinions – in my personal opinion this film is great, there is characters you like, there are parts that feel like the animated series, it’s a batman story I like, this is a film that I can recommend, and this is a film that I watch over and over.

Conclusion – for the final verdict I give the film a 10 out of 10, perfect batman film.
